During this exclusive Vision Dinner, Marco Jongen, SVP and Digital Partner for Human Nutrition & Care at dsm-firmenich, shares how dsm-firmenich is reshaping its commercial organization using AI-driven customer insights, digital transformation, and new ways of working.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience leading global transformation programs, M&A integrations, operating model redesigns, and digital business innovation, Marco takes us through one of the most ambitious transformation journeys in the sector: the evolution from a traditional ingredients supplier to a solution-oriented organization that helps customers identify market opportunities before they even become visible.
Central to the discussion is the story of ‘Dave’: a new sales representative finding his way in an increasingly complex customer landscape. By combining AI agents, proprietary data, market insights, and human expertise, dsm-firmenich is building a next-generation sales ecosystem. This enables teams to spot trends earlier, identify untapped market opportunities, and accelerate innovation at scale.
