Bernhardt Fourie is a cybersecurity professional and researcher with over seven years of experience. He currently serves as the Cybersecurity Capability Lead at ASML and will transition to the role of AI Security Architect at Nationale-Nederlanden in May. He specializes in incident response and proactive security architecture for both IT and OT environments. Bernhardt has held security-focused positions at organizations such as Uber, ABN AMRO Bank, the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and the International Criminal Court. Additionally, he holds a BA in International Relations from the University of California and an MA in International Security from the University of Groningen, where he graduated with Honours in Leadership.
