3. How we use your personal data


For members
We process your data to:
– Invite you to events organized by Flevum
– Provide relationship management, marketing, customer administration, and services
– Inform you about news, services, and products from Flevum

– Measure responses to marketing campaigns
– Manage customer and accounts receivable administration
– Maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
For business relations (non-members)
We process your data to:
– Invite you to relevant events
– Provide relationship management and marketing communication

– Maintain our Client Management System (CMS)

4. Legal basis for processing

accordance with the GDPR.
Only authorized Flevum employees have direct access to your data.
If we organize an event with a partner, we may share your contact details with this
partner, but only with your prior consent.
We may provide data if required by law, for example, to the
Tax Authorities or judicial authorities.
If data is transferred outside the EEA, this will only happen under valid
safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention period


Members and business relations
We retain your personal data for a maximum of two (2) years after your last contact with
us, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary for
legitimate business purposes. Dietary or allergy information will be deleted immediately after the
relevant event.
Website visitors
We retain data until your question is marked as ‘resolved’. If you
unsubscribe from our newsletter, your contact details will be deleted within four (4) weeks.


7. Data security


We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to
protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Despite these efforts,
a security incident may occur that affects your privacy. In that case, we will
inform you in a timely manner and take measures to minimize the impact.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

You can unsubscribe or adjust your preferences at any time via the link in our e-
mails or by contacting corporate@flevum.nl.
Non-members only receive such communication if they have given prior consent.
This consent is requested again every three (3) years.
