More on the subject

Worldwide, countries invest billions annually in quantum technology, with the aim of developing the first functional quantum computer. Although AI currently dominates the headlines, quantum computing is expected to become widely available soon and poses a direct threat to current encryption methods, which could undermine digital resilience. This makes it essential to start transitioning to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) now, where collaboration, strategic planning, and knowledge sharing will be crucial for success. Yet one fundamental question remains: where do we begin?

During this Vision Dinner, Herbert Leenstra, Enterprise Architect Security at Rabobank, will share the bank’s vision and strategy in the field of PQC. He will discuss Rabobank’s practical approach, the challenges encountered, and the obstacles during implementation, highlighting the key lessons learned: what worked, what didn’t, and why. In addition, Herbert will discuss how to effectively involve C-level executives and substantiate investments in this crucial domain.

You are cordially invited to network with Herbert and other professionals, exchange experiences, and gain insights into this urgent topic. We look forward to welcoming you on October 30.
