Hans de Vries has served as Chief Cybersecurity and Operations Officer (COO) at ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, since April 2024. Prior to this, he spent nearly ten years as the Director of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), where he focused on strengthening the digital resilience of the Netherlands and fostering cooperation between public and private organizations.
Hans has extensive experience in cybersecurity and previously held leadership positions at the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK).
