Head of Global Cyber Defense
Mark has been Head of Global Cyber Defense at ASICS since 2022. Prior to that, he spent nine years at ABN AMRO. At ASICS, Mark is responsible for the development and management of ASICS’ global cyber defense services, as well as their implementation and delivery in collaboration with the regional organizations. These services include endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, security monitoring, phishing protection, and threat modelling.
Security monitoring has become a central theme in today’s cybersecurity landscape. Many organizations still rely on traditional SIEM solutions. ASICS, however, has chosen a different approach. The company is rolling out a global XDR (Extended Detection and Response) strategy, not only to detect threats but also to respond to them directly. By utilizing specialized tools for email, endpoint, identity, and network security, ASICS correlates enriched data. The result: lower costs, sharper insights, and real-time response capabilities.
