More on the subject

Healthcare is under increasing pressure due to staff shortages, limited financial resources, and an aging population. Digitalization, data, and AI are often cited as part of a potential solution, but successful implementation requires more than technology alone. Thoughtful leadership and attention to technological, cultural, and organizational prerequisites are crucial.

Against this backdrop, Amsterdam UMC positions data-driven working as a strategic, organization-wide approach to improving care, research, valorization, and operations through data. Dr. Azam Nurmohamed, internist-nephrologist, CMIO, and chair of the Data-Driven Working program, will guide participants during this Vision Dinner through the transition to data- and AI-driven operations, including the associated challenges and practical examples.
