Eric has been CISO at Perfetti Van Melle since September 2024. Perfetti Van Melle is one of the top three global players in the confectionery and jelly industry. It is a multinational corporation with 20,000 employees, a turnover of 4-5 billion euros, operating in 33 countries with production facilities and sales in 135 countries.
Before that, Eric worked for 21 years at Philips and Signify in various security leadership roles. He started as an SAP authorization/security consultant. From 2006, he held management positions at Philips, where his focus gradually expanded to broader security applications. In 2015, he joined the Philips Lighting CISO team. In 2016, the team transitioned from IT to Corporate Security, where the three lines of defense model was implemented.
