The Flevum Sustainability Circle invites you to an exclusive guided experience at LyondellBasell’s Rotterdam-Botlek site, the largest and most advanced production facility of its kind in the Netherlands. Here, LyondellBasell manufactures polymers and chemicals for global markets while leading the way in industrial sustainability through groundbreaking innovations in carbon reduction, circular economy practices, and energy efficiency.

In addition to the site tour, Andrea Brown Smatlan, VP and Chief Sustainability Officer, and Jessica Mooij, Sustainability Business Development Manager, will provide insights on how LyondellBasell collaborates within the industrial cluster to address the major challenges of sustainable operations on an industrial scale. They will delve into the complexities of balancing production versus imports in today’s regulatory landscape, particularly with the introduction of CBAM.
