Strategic certainty is a luxury few organisations can still afford. Geopolitical fragmentation, economic volatility, and a rapidly accelerating energy transition are reshaping the environment in which leaders must make long-term decisions, often faster than existing frameworks can accommodate. The question is no longer where to steer. It is how to hold a course when the conditions keep changing.
The energy transition is a case in point. What is often framed as a technological or economic shift is, at its core, a geopolitical one: a redistribution of power driven by competition over critical materials, the restructuring of global trade, and the emergence of new security dependencies. Understanding it requires more than an energy lens. It requires a strategic one.
It is with this in mind that we are pleased to invite you to an intimate an exclusive Boardroom Dinner with Renée Jones-Bos, former Secretary-General of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador to Washington and Moscow. During the evening, Renée Jones-Bos will reflect on the current geopolitical situation from her own experience and translate this back to the European context. She will explore what recent developments in the Middle East and Ukraine reveal about the future of transatlantic relations, the aspirations of Russia and China, and Europe’s response.

A central theme of the dialogue will be: what is needed to bring the public and private sectors together in order to strengthen Europe’s strategic capacity? How can the Netherlands reinvent itself in this changing geopolitical landscape, and what is required to make that happen? We warmly invite you to join the dialogue!
