Shirin Khimji is Global Cloud Architect and Head of Global Zero Trust at ASICS Technology. During our Vision Dinner, she will provide insight into how IAM interacts with risk management, safeguards, user behavior, HR, audits, and other organizational layers. Because everything has a digital identity, IAM is central. But the functions and capabilities are often isolated. So: what is the best way to interact, how does placing IAM at the center work with data and identity risk “s? And how do you solve these risk” s? In addition, she will explore the concept of adaptive trust, where a user side and a defense side of IAM are created and integrated into different layers of defense.

Head of Global Zero Trust and Cloud Architect
Shirin Khimji is Global Cloud Architect and Head of Global Zero Trust at ASICS. With nearly two decades of experience in cybersecurity, Shirin has built a career spanning risk management, SOC operations, and particularly IAM — her core area of expertise.
Before joining ASICS, Shirin held leadership roles in the financial sector, working across all aspects of cybersecurity. Her move to ASICS marked her first role outside of finance, where she now applies her deep technical knowledge to a retail environment, focused on balancing security with user experience.
At ASICS, she pioneered the concept of Adaptive Trust, an evolved approach to Zero Trust that integrates identity telemetry with real-time risk scoring to deliver dynamic access control.
ASICS Technology has recently started building a modern cybersecurity strategy from the ground up. Previously, security was managed across 20 different ASICS locations, each with its own strategies and practices. The goal is to create a unified and centralized IAM approach as part of the Digitalization Program 2024-2026, with identity at the heart of Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
