More on the subject

On November 10, we welcome Sander Bokelman, Area Supply Chain Director Europe at Heineken, for an exclusive Vision Dinner for senior leaders in Supply Chain and Operations.

As market conditions continue to evolve, Heineken has re-examined the foundations of its European operational network in recent years. Questions such as: how do we optimally utilize our assets, how do we achieve economies of scale with high-quality capabilities, how do we improve service delivery and protect our margins? Over the past five years, Sander has played a key role in the transformation of the European supply chain organization: from a decentralized structure to a hybrid operational model with central coordination.

Technology is one of the primary driving forces behind this transformation. By deploying advanced data capabilities, analytics, and increasingly AI-driven service centers, Heineken is building an integrated and intelligent supply chain organization. This enables the organization to make decisions faster, work more efficiently, and further improve operational performance.

During this Vision Dinner, Sander will share his key insights and experiences from this transformation. The evening will conclude with an interactive roundtable discussion with other senior leaders on themes including:

  • Redesigning supply chain networks in a volatile environment
  • The role of centralization and shared service models
  • Translating technology, AI, and data analytics into concrete business value
  • Removing barriers to AI adoption and scaling successful applications
  • Finding the right balance between cost optimization and strengthening long-term capabilities and organizational resilience
