Sir Alex Younger is the former Chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), serving from 2014 to 2020. With nearly 30 years in intelligence, he is a leading authority on global security, cyber threats, and geopolitical strategy. Before becoming Chief, he led MI6’s counter-terrorism operations, including security for the London 2012 Olympics. As MI6 modernized under his leadership, he emphasized using technology as an advantage in intelligence work. A graduate of St. Andrews University in economics and computer science, he also served as an officer in the Scots Guards.
