More on the subject

How does the supply chain of an internet provider work — and what can service- and product-driven organizations learn from it?

During an exclusive Vision Dinner on March 17, Mark van de Greijn, Head of Supply Chain & Order Fulfillment at VodafoneZiggo, will share how the supply chain behind an internet provider operates in practice. The session will explore end-to-end flows — from network equipment, refurbishment, and customer devices to installation, changes, and returns — and how these flows directly impact operational efficiency, cost, and customer experience.

Reflecting on VodafoneZiggo’s evolution through multiple mergers, Mark will discuss how diverse operating models, systems, and supply chain setups were integrated while maintaining performance under constant commercial pressure.

Building on this experience, he will show how Supply Chain can deliver meaningful impact both in service-driven organizations, where it is not the primary focus, and in organizations with a physical supply chain, where it often operates behind the scenes. Rather than leading with a traditional agenda, the emphasis is on facilitation: aligning commercial, technology, and operations teams, improving decision-making, and increasing transparency across end-to-end flows.

The evening concludes with a moderated peer discussion on increasing influence, enabling efficiency initiatives, and strengthening the role of Supply Chain across service- and product-led organizations.
